Note: This article is intended for users who signed up for Revive using the Opensend Shopify Revive app. If you have an existing Opensend subscription you do not need the Shopify Revive app and should use Revive from the Opensend Dashboard.
How to sign up from your Opensend Revive Shopify app
After you have installed the Opensend Revive Shopify app, go to the app main page and follow the following steps:
- Click Get started
- Fill out your business details and Click Submit
- You will receive an email from Opensend for your account activation
- From the Welcome email, click on Create a password to begin
- Fill out the form and click Submit
- Click Next
- You can now access the Opensend dashboard
How to Integrate your Opensend Account to Opensend Revive Shopify app and subscribe to a plan
After you have signed up successfully to the Opensend, go to the app dashboard page and follow the following steps:
- Click Login
- Add your Opensend account credentials and click Submit
- To buy Opensend revive credits, click on Buy more credits
- Select the amount of Revive credits that you want to buy
- Approve the payment charge
- On successful payment, you should see this confirmation screen
How to upload the list of bouncing emails to Opensend from Shopify to revive
After you have successfully purchased a plan on Opensend, you can upload contacts to Opensend to revive following these steps
- Create a segment on Shopify, for all bouncing emails
- Go to Segments under Customers
- Click Create Segment
- Click filter
- Select filter Email bounced
- Click Apply
- Name the segment and click Save
- Go to the Opensend Revive app page on Shopify and click Prepare a new customer list
- Select the Bouncing emails segment
- Once the file processing is completed, click on the arrow icon to send the list to Opensend
- Go to the Opensend dashboard and navigate to the CSV Upload tab under Email Revive
- Click Process
- Now you can see the emails requested are being revived by Opensend, as soon as the processing is complete you will receive confirmation via email and your revived CSV file will be available for download
How to upload the list of bouncing emails to Opensend manually to revive
Email lists can be added manually to Opensend, as described below.
- Go to the “Email revive” tab from Opensend Dashboard
- Click on “CSV Upload”
- Click on "Upload a file" and add the file with emails you want Opensend to Revive.
Note: The input needs to be in CSV format with header, should contain only one column email and should not have a size over 100MB - Add a comment and click "Save"
- You will now see, the following details:
- Total emails (the number of emails in your CSV)
- New emails (the number of emails in the CSV file minus any previously submitted emails that were already revived)
- Estimated revived emails (an estimate of how many emails we'll be able to revive)
- Remaining prepaid credit (the credits available in your account for Opensend email revive)
- Click "Process"
- Now you can see the emails requested are being revived by Opensend, as soon as the processing is complete you will receive confirmation via email
