How do I upload coupons in Opensend to use in an HTML Postal template?

Please take note of the following coupon characteristics when utilizing them with Opensend:
  • Each coupon is used once
  • Coupons have to be uploaded via CSV
  • Coupons have an expiry date - After which coupons are not valid anymore and postcards using those coupons will not be processed 
  • Coupons will only be available to be used with the HTML templates
  • Once expired, the coupon expiry date can be changed/extended to a different date
  • You can import more coupons to your coupon group as per your needs
  • In order to use Coupon you need to have a coupon variable in your HTML template

Uploading coupon group

  1. Go to Postal
  2. Go to Coupons
  3. Click on Create Coupon
  4. Enter the name of the coupon group, select the expiry date, and Add a CSV file - Up to 256 MB)
    1. CSV should only contain one column i.e. "coupon", see the sample file and follow that format
  5. Click Create

How to change the coupon expiry date

  1. Go to Postal
  2. Go to Coupons
  3. Click on the three dots next to the coupon group
  4. Click on the Change expiry date
  5. Select a new date when the coupon group will expire
  6. Click on the Update button 

How to import additional codes to the coupon group

  1. Go to Postal
  2. Go to Coupons
  3. Click on the three dots next to the coupon group
  4. Click on Import codes
  5. Add a CSV file that contains coupon codes
  6. Click Import

Observing coupon group

  1. Go to Postal
  2. Go to Coupons
  3. The list of available coupon groups will show up
  4. You will see the name, expiry date, created date, and number of available/total coupons for each group
  5. You can click on the Coupon group and check the status of each coupon and find out whether it was used in your postcard or not
