How do I review Reconnect metrics?

Overview of the Reconnect dashboard

The Reconnect dashboard within your Opensend account gives you important insights into the contacts that Opensend was able to recognize and connect the dots for your email marketing platform, enabling you to trigger event based flows like product, cart and checkout abandonment.

Access the Reconnect dashboard under Products, after logging in to your Opensend account.

Within the Reconnect dashboard, you will see metrics such as

Visitor Identities Updated - How many return visitors Opensend was able to connect the dots on during the selected timeframe. These are visits that were NOT recognized by your email marketing platform, and would have remained anonymous (without the ability to trigger event-based flows) had Opensend not recognized them.

Received Mail - How many Reconnect-enhanced profiles received an email in the selected timeframe

Opened Message - How many Reconnect-enhanced profiles opened an email in the selected timeframe

Clicked - How many Reconnect-enhanced profiles clicked a link in an email in the selected timeframe

Viewed Product - How many Reconnect-enhanced profiles viewed a product in the selected timeframe

Started Checkout - How many Reconnect-enhanced profiles started a checkout in the selected timeframe

Placed Order - How many Reconnect-enhanced profiles placed an order in the selected timeframe
Placed Order Value - The total value of orders placed by Reconnect-enhanced profiles in the selected timeframe.

Please note, these metrics (other than Visitor Identities Updated) are not all incremental due to Reconnect - of course some return visitors will place orders on their own without triggering abandonment flows. These metrics demonstrate the quality of the profiles enhanced - these are high intent customers. For visibility into incremental revenue from Reconnect-enhanced profiles, you can build reports in your email marketing platform and/or Reconnect-specific flows.
