Seamlessly integrate Opensend data into Sendlane
- Go to the integrations tab on the Opensend Dashboard
 - Click Main Connections
 - Click Add Destination

 - Select Sendlane

 - Add Name, Description, and Click Next

 
- To generate your Sendlane API Token, please follow these steps. 
- Log in to your Sendlane account

- Click on API

- Click on the API token button 

 
 - Click on the API token button 
 
- 
- Enter a name for your API token e.g. "Opensend Token" and click on the Create button

- Click on Copy API token – Make sure you save your API token because you won't be able to see it on Sendlane after the pop-up is closed

 - Paste the copied API token in the API token field on the Opensend dashboard and click Validate 

 - Click on the "Select or create a new list" dropdown to select or create a list that you are going to use for Opensend contacts 
- We suggest creating a new list called "Opensend" – Make sure you select the correct Sender for the created list and click on the "Create" button

 - Click on "Select or create a new tag" dropdown 
- We suggest creating a new tag called "Opensend"
 - Click on Create a new tag
 - Enter a name for your tag i.e. "Opensend" and click on the Create button

 

 - Mapping custom fields:
 
By default, Opensend is only delivering email address to your integration. However, you can add additional fields that we generate by default:
- sourceURL
 - Timestamp
 - sourceDomain
 - userGeolocation
 - userIp
 - userAgent
 
To add those to your delivery alongside email contacts:
- Click on Select an option dropdown under the Opensend field headline
 

- Select the desired field that you want to deliver alongside email – For example UserGeolocation
 

- Click on Select an option dropdown under the Sendlane field headline
 

- You will be offered to select a field that you already have on Sendlane or to create a new one 
- If you don't have a field on Sendlane that would match the field on Opensend (In this case userGeolocation) click on "Create new item" 

 
 - If you don't have a field on Sendlane that would match the field on Opensend (In this case userGeolocation) click on "Create new item" 
 - Enter a name for the field and click on Create
- Now UserGeolocation Opensend field will be mapped out to the created field on your Sendlane dashboard

 
 - Now UserGeolocation Opensend field will be mapped out to the created field on your Sendlane dashboard
 - You can add more fields by clicking on Add Custom Field icon
  - When the custom fields setup is done, click on the Next button

 
- Select the Traffic sources from where you want to receive the data
 - Click Create Connections

 - Select the Destinations and Click Publish

 - Once the connection is published you will see your Traffic source connected with your Sendlane integration with a green line.
