Seamlessly integrate Opensend data into Bloomreach
Prerequisites:To integrate Opensend with Custom webhook you will need:
- Project Token
- API Base URL
- API Secret Key
- API Key ID
- Email Hard/Soft ID
To manage your Project Token and API credentials, visit the API Access Management page.
For seamless integration, Opensend requires email addresses as either a primary identifier (Hard ID) or a secondary identifier (Soft ID). By default, Opensend uses the "registered" Hard ID to identify and exclude email addresses already in your Bloomreach account. Ensure that your contacts in Bloomreach have an email address set as the "registered" Hard ID.
If you use a different identifier (primary or secondary) for email addresses, simply provide that identifier when setting up the Bloomreach integration with Opensend.
If no identifier containing email addresses is available, contact Bloomreach to obtain a Hard or Soft ID that includes email addresses.

How Opensend helps with events tracking using Cookie sync?
As part of the Opensend service, we also offer cookie synchronization with Your Bloomreach integration for both your existing contacts and those delivered by Opensend.
- Contacts delivered and cookie synced by Opensend will have a specific tag csync_tag = os_connect
- Contacts that you already have on your Bloomreach account will have a specific tag csync_tag = os_reconnect when Opensend does cookie sync
- To use Cookie sync you need to have the Bloomreach tracking script on your website. If it's not there already, you can find it by going to Settings/Web integration on Bloomreach:
- An Example of the contact synced and delivered by Opensend to Bloomreach
- An example of the contact that already existed on Bloomreach and was synced by Opensend
