How to Update Your Opensend Pixel Data to "Always on" on Shopify

Shopify has introduced a new default setting for pixel data sharing. To ensure your Opensend campaigns continue to track customer data effectively, you should update your Opensend App Pixel from the default "Optimized" mode to "Always on." This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you make this update.

Note: This is applicable only to clients utilizing the Opensend Shopify App.

Steps to Update Your Opensend Pixel Data:

  1. Log in to Shopify Admin

    • Access your Shopify account and go to the admin panel.

  2. Navigate to Customer Events

    • From the left-hand menu, go to Settings.

    • Select Customer events from the settings options.

  3. Open App Pixels Tab

    • Click on the App Pixels tab to see a list of installed pixels.

  4. Locate Opensend Pixel

    • Find your Opensend Pixel in the list of app pixels.

  5. Change Data Mode

    • Under the Data column, switch the Mode from Optimized to Always on.

  6. Apply Changes

    • Click Apply to save your updated settings.

Tip: You can repeat this process for all other pixels that are essential for your website to ensure full data tracking and optimized marketing performance.
