How do I integrate Opensend Reconnect into Bloomreach?

Seamlessly integrate Opensend Reconnect into Bloomreach

Prerequisites: 

To integrate Opensend Reconnect with Bloomreach, you will need:

  • Project Token
  • API Base URL
  • API Secret Key
  • API Key ID
  • Email Hard/Soft ID

Bloomreach Reconnect Flow – Setup Highlights

  • API group must have:

    • Get/Set permissions for Customer properties (New and Other)

    • Get/Set permissions for Events (New and Other)

    • Export analyses enabled under: Project Settings > API > GDPR > Export analyses

  • After validating API credentials:

    • Create Opensend Reconnect scenarios using Opensend Reconnect events

    • Input scenario IDs into your Bloomreach setup

    • Create Revenue and Email reports

    • Input report IDs into your Bloomreach setup

Steps to integrate:

  • Login to Opensend
  • Click on the Integrations tab and go to Main connections 
  • Click on the Add Destination button 
  • Select Bloomreach Reconnect flow
  • If you prefer, change the name and puta  description for your Bloomreach Reconnect flow destination, and click Next 
  • Now you will be requested to add the credentials for the integration
  • Go to the Bloomreach website and log in to your account.
  • Click on the Settings icon
  • Click on Project settings
  • From the menu on the left, select Access Management, then click API.
  • Copy the Project token and paste it into the dedicated field in the Opensend Bloomreach setup
  • Copy the API Base URL and paste it into the dedicated field in Opensend Bloomreach setup
  • Click on the API groups dropdown and select the “New group”  option
  • Choose API group with Private access type and name the group “Opensend”
  • Click on the Create group button
  • Copy the secret API key and paste it into the dedicated field in the Opensend Bloomreach setup
  • Copy the API key ID (Default)  and paste it into the dedicated field in Opensend Bloomreach setup
  • Scroll down to the Group permissions section on Bloomreach
  • Assign Get and Set permissions for Customer properties (New and Other)
  • Assign Get and Set permissions for Events (New and Other)
  • Click on the Save Changes button
  • Enter the Email Hard/Soft ID in the designated field when setting up Opensend with Bloomreach. The default value is "registered," but if your Bloomreach account uses a different identifier for email addresses, provide that value in the Email Hard/Soft ID field.
  • Other fields will be filled out later after your API setup is completed and your scenarios are ready:
    • Scenario IDs for Reconnect
    • Get the Revenue report for the Opensend identities
    • Get Email Campaign Evaluation report for Opensend identities
  • Click on the Validate button: 
  • Select additional fields that will be delivered in the Opensend Reconnect events to Bloomreach and click Next 
  • Select the Traffic sources to connect with the Bloomreach Reconnect flow and click on the “Create connections” button
  • Click on the “Skip now” button after your Connection has been created. We cannot publish the Connection yet because you need to create scenarios for the Opensend Reconnect related events
